We’re springing into action with another issue of the Food Journal!
It’s another week with minimal advance batch prep. These are all new quick & efficient recipes to get you through your busy week.
While they’re efficient, that doesn’t mean you have to be rushed while making them. Consider communicating with your family whether you could use help or would like some quiet time while you cook. Doing so can really help set you up for a chill food prep experience. Try to work calmly through the steps, taking the time you need. Each of the recipes this week is set up to take only about 10-15 minutes of prep time and 15-20 minutes of cook time on your weeknight (if you cook Monday’s sweet potato rounds on Sunday, since they take a bit longer to cook through if you don’t have an air fryer). So if you can spare at least a half hour in the kitchen to give yourself the time to get into zen mode, go for it.
